Kurtosys is delighted to announce that Baillie Gifford, one of the UK's leading independent investment managers, is to implement the Kurtosys BPO ('Business Process Outsourcing') Document Production Solution for Fund Factsheets.

The solution, part of Kurtosys' Client Communications Platform will provide Baillie Gifford with an automated, on-demand solution for some of their retail and institutional fund factsheet reporting requirements. In addition, Kurtosys will deploy their Enterprise Data Management solution, Kurtosys EDM, to ease the flow of data and content from Baillie Gifford to the BPO Document Production Solution.

Following a review of available solutions, Kurtosys was selected with key differentiators being integration with Adobe InDesign for high quality, print ready output; an automated production process with configurable workflow and an easy to use web based application interface.

Simon Rose, EVP of Sales at Kurtosys comments, "The decision by Baillie Gifford to outsource elements of their fund factsheet reporting demonstrates the continued trend by asset managers to adopt a 'best of breed' approach to servicing parts of their overall reporting requirements. We look forward to a successful implementation and building a long term partnership with one of Scotland's leading independently owned investment management organisations".
