IntegraSys, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), signed more than $25 million in contracts for its Premier credit union service bureau core processing solution during the fourth quarter of 2003. These renewals demonstrate the strong position Premier has established as the most commonly used service bureau core application among U.S. credit unions.
Rick Benhart, CEO for Collins Community Credit Union, a $345 million institution in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, that recently renewed its agreement with IntegraSys, believes that IntegraSys will become even stronger in the industry with the resources the organization gained from the merger with Fiserv.
"Re-signing with IntegraSys was all about its continued commitment to us and the strong relationships that we have experienced over the past 27 years," Benhart said. "After we extensively reviewed the competition, IntegraSys proved a dedicated partner with the focus required to assist us now and into the future."
"Premier is one of the most scalable applications available to the credit union market, which is demonstrated daily by the hundreds of credit unions, from $1 million to $1.5 billion in size, that have chosen its outsourced environment over operating their systems in-house," said Albert Ku, senior vice president and general manager for the Premier product for IntegraSys.

New Features and Development
"We currently have a major refresh under way for Premier that takes advantage of Microsoft .NET(R) and Web services technologies, which will maintain Premier's market-leading position and our credit union customers' competitive advantage," said Ku.
This new version of Premier will launch in the second quarter of 2004. Also, Premier users can take advantage of the recently announced alliance with John M. Floyd & Associates for its OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE(SM) program. Other new functions include risk based pricing and the integration of eVantage(TM), a member relationship management tool that uses activity-based costing and profit models to help credit union executives better manage their business.
Premier is a highly sophisticated online service bureau system that delivers comprehensive processing to hundreds of credit unions. Premier supports all of a credit union's service needs - from ATM support to workflow processing to online interfaces and report queries - in addition to totally integrated share, loan, general ledger, accounting and payroll processing systems. The core processing application is the central technology hub in a credit union that is used to open and manage accounts, process loans and deposits, complete required accounting functions and fulfill other member relationship requirements.
Fiserv completed the acquisition of IntegraSys and its products from Electronic Data Systems Corp. in July 2003.
