Direct Edge has relocated from its previous location in Jersey City to its new location in Equinix NY4, Secaucus, New Jersey. Atrium Network provides connectivity to both locations, which enabled a seamless migration from one location to another for clients who were already connected to Direct Edge. The data centre migration coincided with Direct Edge's launch of its new state-of-the-art trading system and its transition to stock exchange status. Atrium Network is pleased to help Direct Edge extend its reach by making its EDGA Exchange and EDGX Exchange available to Atrium's established customer base throughout Europe and the Americas.

Commenting on the connectivity and migration, Emmanuel Carjat CEO of Atrium Network, said, "Irrespective of changes at a venue-end, our approach to providing ultra-lower latency connectivity allows customers to connect once and benefit from resilient, secure and flexible access to the global financial community. We continue to see an increase in demand for cross-border access to exchange venues; offering our customers greater access choice with the minimum head-ache is a key priority for us."

Carjat continued, "We are delighted to have helped to support the migration of Direct Edge into the NY4 facility and look forward to helping other clients on Atrium Network to connect to Direct Edge and other available trading venues."
