Metro Bank, which opened its first store in Holborn on 29th July and has a second store set to open Cromwell Road, Earls Court in September, is being supported by the TALL Group for its secure cheque and credit payments requirements.

This forms part of Metro Banks 'rapid account opening procedure' that provides prompt issuance of cheque books, credit books, bank cards within 15 minutes of opening the account.

Checkprint Banking Assistant, the TALL Group's Cheque and Cash deposit management system, will be integrated for back office scanning of in-clearing cheques and branch received cheques at launch.

In addition to this, the TALL Group will be providing standard cheque and credit books and also a special cheque and credit service for Metro Bank's corporate customers.

Martin Ruda, managing director of The TALL Group of Companies commented: "This is an exciting time for high street banking and we are proud to have been selected by Metro Bank as its partner in this critical element of tangible customer service. Those customers who want and need cheque and credit books will receive an unparalleled service which will be a significant new benchmark for UK banking."
