Tieto has completed an upgrade of the Summit, part of its Mortgage & Savings Suite (MSS) aimed to manage mortgage lenders relationship with their customers from first contact to final payment.

The new release (CSR2) delivers major enhancements to customer view, workflows, security and user experience together with changes to the technical architecture.

CSR2 provides a holistic view of each customer, enabling financial services organizations to offer tailored, faster and more accurate service for their end customers. This view of end customers, their accounts, contact history and other activities enables new sales opportunities.

Tieto surveyed its existing customers on their usage of the Summit in order to find out where the improvements would generate most value. The feedback was used to drive development of new workflows, which significantly speed up data capture and reduce errors due to a higher degree of automation. In addition the user experience has been completely renewed making it easy to use and move between different activities.

New security features give greater management control, whilst providing for proper segregation of duties amongst users. The underlying technical architecture is based on the latest version of Oracle technology.

Liam Howard, Head of Tieto Financial Services in the UK says: "We have made a big investment in this release, which is indicative of our continued desire to service the needs of financial services companies operating in the mortgage and savings market. The new features of CSR2 enable these organisations to improve the efficiency of their operations whilst delivering an even higher quality of service to their end customers. I am delighted that the software is now on general release and we already have several customer implementations in progress. The combination of extensive business functionality delivered using modern technology means that CSR2 is a product at the forefront of the market in terms of capability."
