Experian, the global information services company, today announces the launch of a Payment Advice module for its UK Payments Gateway product.

This latest innovation will allow organisations to send automated messages advising consumer and business beneficiaries that payments have been made through a range of channels, including SMS and email.

The Payment Advice module will help organisations save time and reduce costs by enabling them to send payment advice messages automatically via post, fax, email and SMS, using any combination of these channels. The module is fully integrated with Experian Payments UK Gateway product, which uses its Bank Wizard technology to validate payment information prior to submission. This ensures that advice messages are not sent out prior to payments being rejected.

Norman Taylor, Product Manager at Experian Payments, comments: "With many companies looking to replace paper forms of payment with automated systems, they will need to automate their advice messages as well. The Experian Payments UK Gateway now provides a complete offering for companies' payment needs, both in terms of making payments and quickly advising beneficiaries that the payment has been made."
