BISYS, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for the financial services sector, today announced the release of an expanded version of its ABA endorsed cheque-imaging solution.

The ISCheck 2005 solution features an extensive array of enhancements, including expanded support for image exchange, a streamlined graphical user interface, and additional remote image capture capabilities, positioning it as the most advanced, feature-rich solution on the market.
BISYS' cheque-imaging solution is the nation's first item processing system supporting the live exchange of images with Endpoint Exchange, a leading national cheque-image exchange, the Federal Reserve, and in bank-to-bank configurations. The next step toward a "total image", no-paper processing environment, BISYS' newest release enables faster, simpler transition to electronic clearing and settlement.

To aid institutions in reducing transport fees and additional processing costs, point-of-presentment image capture options are incorporated into the solution. Remote branch capture, corporate capture, and ATM capture position financial institutions to realise sizable cost savings.

As imaging continues to evolve, as with the passage of Check 21 and other industry developments, BISYS will remain dedicated to developing and delivering innovative solutions and services to the market. The launch of our expanded cheque-imaging solution is indicative of this commitment. Its expanded functionality will allow our clients to maximise their investment in imaging technology and achieve significant improvements in operational efficiency."
