Panini, the market leader in distributed check capture, has expanded its partnership to include Symitar, a division of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. ® and leading provider of core processing solutions for credit unions. Symitar will now offer the Panini Vision X® with eventual plans to certify and release the Panini I:Deal™, the exclusive check scanners endorsed by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), with their distributed capture solutions for their credit union customers.

"Panini and Jack Henry & Associates have a well-established, successful partnership providing distributed capture solutions to the financial industry. Both ProfitStars®, the division of Jack Henry & Associates that provides best-of-breed, performance improving solutions to financial institutions of all sizes and charters, and Jack Henry Banking™, the division that provides enterprise-wide technology platforms to community and mid-tier banks, already utilize the Panini check scanner line," said David Foss, President, ProfitStars. "We're excited to now expand our partnership with Panini to include our Symitar division, which provides credit unions of all sizes with core technology solutions, and its extensive credit union customer base."
Panini's recently launched Check 21 initiative designed specifically for credit unions will be leveraged by ProfitStars and Symitar to assist credit unions with implementing teller capture (process of truncating check deposits at each branch teller line) remote deposit capture, or member capture (process of enabling credit union members to scan and transmit check deposits right from their home or office). The initiative, made possible by Panini's recent selection as the exclusive check scanner alliance provider of CUNA Strategic Services (CSS), is comprised of special promotions throughout 2010, joint marketing programs, a strategic channel program, special resources for credit unions and Panini's world-leading check capture solutions.
"ProfitStars and Symitar have a tremendous amount of experience with credit unions, so we look forward to leveraging our relationship and combining efforts to provide state-of-the-art solutions specific to this market," adds Doug Roberts, President, Panini North America.
