Atrium Network, provider of smarter connectivity for the financial community, announced today that as part of the ongoing migration of NYSE Liffe to UTP (Universal Trading Platform), UTP derivatives will become available on the Atrium Network platform, initially as a test environment and subsequently as a production environment.

Atrium Network offers straightforward, resilient access in an effort to help clients simplify their connectivity requirements and to ensure they receive secure, reliable and ultra high-speed access to the financial community. NYSE Euronext's new platform aims to set new standards in scalability, capacity and ultra-low latency access.

Commenting on the connectivity to NYSE Liffe UTP derivatives, Emmanuel Carjat, CEO of Atrium Network, said, "In 2008, we announced that we would be one of the first extranet providers to connect to NYSE Euronext's European cash trading platform. Building on the success of this connectivity, we are delighted to announce this natural progression to provide clients with access to UTP derivatives through a simple resilient point of connection to our community extranet. Atrium Network now offers low latency access to NYSE Euronext futures and options markets in Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, London and Paris, in addition to our existing offering of equities, derivatives, and financial derivatives. We fully support efforts by NYSE Euronext to provide greater choice and competition in trading, clearing and settlement and are delighted to offer access to UTP derivatives."

Carjat added, "Atrium Network has already begun connecting customers to the NYSE Liffe UTP Derivatives test environment to facilitate the development of their trading applications and infrastructure. Connectivity to this test environment affords Atrium Network clients the opportunity to actively stress test their trading connectivity, prior to the UTP Derivatives service going live in June 2010. We believe that the combination of NYSE Euronext's high performance Universal Trading Platform and high speed, resilient access via Atrium Network's connectivity technology, will help our customers realise the trading opportunities on offer in Europe."
