The approval was for the applications of Cantor Futures Exchange, L.P. for designation as a contract market and Cantor Clearinghouse, L.P. to be registered as a derivatives clearing organization.

"We appreciate the excellent work of the CFTC and look forward to continuing to work with them as they oversee our exchange and review our domestic box office receipts (DBOR) contracts for approval," said Richard Jaycobs, President of Cantor Exchange.
