Edinburgh Partners, an independent investment management company, has chosen SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, to enhance the research efforts of its specialist Applied Research Team.
Using SAS Enterprise Miner, Edinburgh Partners will be able to build powerful predictive models and screening tools that will enhance their understanding of global equity markets.
SAS will provide Edinburgh Partners with a solution to analyse the complex interrelationships that exist within equity markets. Utilising a vast dataset containing more than 40 years worth of financial data from across more than 50 countries, Edinburgh Partners will use cutting-edge data mining techniques to analyse the historic stock price performance of companies according to fundamental valuations and economic characteristics.
