Its avant-garde design, specially created furnishings and state-of-the-art technological equipment - including touchscreens and giant plasma displays - reflect a new mission: to prepare for the bank's future by drawing inspiration from the EPFL environment and the research and innovation activities, exchanges and education that are the hallmarks of this extraordinary setting.
"This branch is the only one of its kind in Switzerland. Deliberately futuristic, it reflects the bank's aim to be part of EPFL's promising future, both to enrich and be inspired by this exceptional campus. We want this branch to be as much a banking laboratory, in touch with the latest technological advances, as a place of constant development to meet the changing needs of our clients," explains Hanspeter Kurzmeyer, Head of Private Clients Switzerland.

The architecture of the branch - a circular space covering an area of 108 square meters - embraces the fluid, visionary curves of the Rolex Learning Center complex. Its transparent sliding walls reflect the enormous technical complexity of the building. Clean lines create a modern and harmonious esthetic. This second Credit Suisse branch  in addition to the Esplanade location  within this large university and scientific community in the canton of Vaud is open to all on-site users and partners as well as the public.

Credit Suisse's presence right at the heart of EPFL reflects the bank's commitment to serving as a financial partner to the ambitious Rolex Learning Center project. This is part of the bank's longstanding aim to support educational development and the next generation in Switzerland. Accordingly, Credit Suisse is actively involved in several joint projects with top schools, universities and foundations. The goal of all these initiatives is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in Switzerland and to thus help strengthen the Swiss economy.
