Capco, the global provider of consulting and managed services to the financial services industry, today announced the expansion of its North American Technology Group.

The expansion is in response to significant service demand from financial organizations that are restructuring their information technology to decrease cycle times and improve business efficiency, readiness and flexibility. Capco Partner Scott Claus has been named to lead the North American Technology Group.

Capco is seeing significant demand from banks and other financial services organizations as they seek to increase their operational efficiency by as much as 20% and as they begin adapting their existing delivery processes to accommodate emerging technologies.

"Many financial institutions are experiencing major IT pain points in their ability to efficiently scale up or down because they have already gone through multiple rounds of IT Cost Take Out and now there is a pent up demand for transformative IT initiatives," said Capco Partner Scott Claus. "This demands CIO and IT leaders rebuild their IT organizations and refine IT delivery processes in a much more efficient manner. In response, Capco is providing these leaders with the IT Supply Chain frameworks and real world expertise necessary for successful IT execution."

The North American Technology Group has deep expertise in the full spectrum of IT Services focused on the Financial Services Industry:
