DCS' instant issuance and PIN management solution, CardWizard®, is a modular software application used by banks, credit unions and retailers to instantly issue Visa® and MasterCard® products in thousands of locations worldwide. The software and EMV infrastructure are installed in the issuer's central computer room, allowing high security and centralized control. Card printing or embossing machines are distributed at the remote issuance locations along with PIN selection and/or PIN change terminals. DCS' CardWizard instant issue software personalizes the full array of card types from virtually all manufacturers, including contactless and magnetic stripe cards, as well as alternative form factors such as stickers and mobile phones. CardWizard can be configured to accommodate the goals and objectives of any card issuance environment.

"Many of our instant issuance clients are using CardWizard to issue MULTOS cards in the branch," said Spencer Clark, managing director, International Markets for DCS. "DCS has been very successful in many of the markets where MULTOS is also strong, such as the Middle East and Canada, and by working even more closely together, we can better serve our mutual clients. MULTOS technology offers security and flexibility features well suited for instant issuance. As DCS increasingly takes a leadership role in the advancement of Smart Card issuance, the timing is right to deepen our commitment to the MULTOS community."

Alan Johnson, technical director of The MULTOS Consortium commented "The patented technology of the MULTOS platform was originally envisaged ssaged to enable the most efficient instant card issuance, and CardWizard enables issuers to leverage these capabilities to the fullest. The MULTOS platform, through open and accessible licensing and governance, continually evolves to meet new customer needs and we welcome DCS to the consortium as we continue to maintain MULTOS as the platform of choice for advanced, instantly issued cards."
