ECHOtrade taps RCN for connectivity

RCN Metro Optical Networks, a division of RCN Corporation (NASDAQ:RCNI) and a premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, announced today that it is providing ECHOtrade, a professional trading firm dedicated to the needs of the off-the-floor trader, with connectivity to major financial exchanges and the Internet.

In addition, RCN Metro is providing colocation services for their New York offices. RCN Metro was able to deliver these services to ECHOtrade in days, far faster that the customer's previous experiences with other service providers.
