Berhan International Bank live with Neptune Rubikon

Neptune is proud to announce that Berhan International Bank has gone live in their first branch just 3 weeks after signing up for Rubikon Banking System.

As the bank continues to implement the rest of the licensed banking modules, plans are underway to deploy Rubikon in two additional branches within the next few weeks.

Neptune Software prides itself in not only being able meet project deadlines but exceeding expectation by cutting the timeline by more than a third. Berhan International Bank now claims to be the first bank in their market to adapt a state-of-the-art universal banking system in a record time. "It is our belief that the new system will give us an edge in customer acquisition over other commercial bank" said Daniel Kitaw, the Chairman of the bank during its inauguration in Addis Ababa.

Chibuzo Ene, Managing Director of Neptune Software in East & Southern Africa expressed delight at this new partnership with Berhan International Bank. He stated that "We believe that Berhan International Bank's professionalism, commitment to the customer experience and clarity of vision will exploit and showcase the strengths, features and benefits of our product, Rubikon. Rubikon has the unique ability to handle all of their requirements and the market seems to agree, with over 11 banks having selected it over a short period of 10 months."

Rubikon is now running in small and large banks some with over 30 branches and more than 500,000 customers. Neptune believes that the bank's decision to embrace Rubikon was also to affirm products suitability to modern banking requirements and ability to deliver complex products and services within determinable timelines.

The bank's President Ato Belachew Bogale Teferi quoted "We opted for Neptune partnership because of the trust and confidence to deliver within the banks shortest deliverable time, professionalism exhibited during the whole process and modern technology, and this will enable Berhan Bank to offer more competitive and innovative banking services in the Ethiopian market."
