Nyse Technologies, the commercial technology unit of Nyse Euronext, today announced that it has successfully implemented its SuperFeed data ticker plant and OneTick, a best-of-breed tick capture and time series analysis solution offered through Nyse Technologies, as the new market data content source for nyse.com.

This fully managed platform offers all nyse.com visitors free access to comprehensive data, charting and historical analysis tools for all National Market System-listed (NMS) securities.

"Many of our clients utilize our SuperFeed platform for its extensive market coverage, unparalleled low latency and proven uptime dependability," said Stanley Young, CEO of NYSE Technologies and co-Global CIO, NYSE Euronext. "The NYSE Euronext website, however, requires a number of highly specific features that make it a true news and market data center with the scalability to capably handle the extraordinary spikes in traffic resulting from market-driven events. We have met those unique challenges with our SuperFeed product and we look forward to continuing to serve the investing public's information needs."

As part of the broader enhancement and relaunch of nyse.com, the SuperFeed service will allow NYSE Euronext's technology teams to greatly improve the web site's depth, functionality and user experience. In the coming months, along with a complete corporate web redesign, NYSE Euronext will introduce market data for other asset classes beyond equities and exchange-traded products. Users will have the ability to view detailed historical market information and analysis on nyse.com, including corporate actions and other chronological stock transaction data with improved reliability, scalability and user-friendliness.

NYSE.com, which currently serves hundreds of thousands of unique visitors each week with relevant news, data and real-time quotes, now receives all of its information and market data from NYSE Technologies' SuperFeed platform via the extensive global market coverage and extraordinary speed of the Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network.

Through NYSE Technologies' SuperFeed service, all market data quotes and charting history on nyse.com are now sourced in real time for all trading days. By streamlining the flow of ma market information, SuperFeed offers customers the ease and reliability of consuming global data from only one source, which reduces complexity, total cost of ownership and time-to-market for its web site implementation.
