Power Payments Technologies (PPT) is a leading provider of solutions for Swift Exceptions management, specialising in Exceptions & Investigations (E&I).
Today PPT announced they had received the SWIFT 2009 E&I Certificate of Conformance for its E&I Management solution Release 1.3.
PPT's Exceptions Management solution, the Wire Transfer Wizard for E&I Release 1.3, was specifically conceived to meet the challenges of SWIFT Exceptions management and quickly establish the company as one of the few organisations specialising in this arena.
PPT's Exceptions Management solution - WTW for E&I Release 1.3 - was awarded the SWIFT E&I Certificate of Conformance in 2008 and again for this year (2009). The solution supports all current and planned XML SWIFTNet E&I cases and messages for bank to bank and bank to corporate exceptions management. It incorporates rules based decision making and supports all required E&I cases and workflow management.
New features of the WTW for E&I Management include Corporate to Bank Exceptions Management, additional automation, reviewed GUI and a new technological platform (J2EE, SOA, SaaS, database independent, browser independent).
The solution is designed to be highly user friendly, intuitive and compact, requiring minimal training and allowing fast and effective usage. Additionally, it was conceived for easy implementation and to integrate with Web services or API based connectors to SWIFT Alliance Access, legacy systems, and leading reconciliation, treasury management, messaging and e-banking solutions.
PPT Exceptions Management solution enables the banks and corporates to send, receive and process all their exceptions messages, in MT and MX formats. Routing information and message details are picked up directly from the underlying payment messages. As and when required, the WTW for E&I Management converts the exception messages to and from MT, as required by the agreement between the bank and its correspondent(s).
"SWIFT is active in providing a wide array of solutions for banks that want to enhance their ir exceptions management solutions, particularly in an E&I perspective, so we welcome the collaboration with PPT, as this partner develops and support a wide range of solutions that meet the different needs of our members in this area," said Juanita Maes Senior Manager - Partner Manager at SWIFT. "The Certificate of Conformance granted to PPT demonstrates to banks and corporate that PPT's E&I Management solution enables them to interact efficiently with members using the MT and MX exceptions messages."
Rodger Mc Kechnie, newly appointed Director at PPT, said "We were delighted to once again achieve this Certificate of Conformance from SWIFT. This re-enforces our commitment and strategy to maintain our leading position as a focused provider within this highly technical market.
