Bell ID, a leading provider of smart card management systems, has been chosen to provide its I-PIN solution to Home Trust Company, one of Canada's leading trust companies.
Home Trust will use Bell ID's EMV PIN change application to allow its EMV cardholders to securely choose and change their PIN online via Home Trust's website, simply using a PC/SC smart card reader issued by Home Trust and any computer with an Internet connection.

The new solution will also allow cardholders to unblock their PIN online if card access has been suspended temporarily, following entry of a wrong PIN on multiple occasions. This feature will result in significant savings for Home Trust against re-issuance costs.
