Advent Software (NASDAQ:ADVS), a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Thomson Reuters to link Geneva, its award-winning portfolio management and fund accounting solution, with Thomson Reuters' global pricing and security reference data service, DataScope Select.

DataScope Select provides global pricing and security reference data including corporate actions for portfolio management, administration and valuation. The service covers the spectrum of data from the global exchanges, as well as foreign exchange, fixed income and derivative pricing. "Advent is very pleased to be working together with Thomson Reuters in order to expand and enhance the core capabilities of our Geneva offering."

Gerry Buggy, Global Head of Hedge Funds, Thomson Reuters, said, "Hedge Funds require concise pricing and reference data to accurately manage their portfolios. Thomson Reuters offers the broadest data coverage, including price, terms, conditions, corporate actions and counterparty data housed and maintained on a truly global basis. Our relationship with Advent is an endorsement of Thomson Reuters' commitment to providing the investment management community with processing efficiencies and a consistent valuation process."
