Morgan Stanley Private Equity (MSPE), part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Merchant Banking Division, has selected iLevel Solutions' Portfolio Company Reporting System (PCRS) for advanced portfolio performance analysis.

iLevel's configurable, Web-based solution will be used as MSPE's core portfolio management system helping MSPE to facilitate timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting.

The process of collecting, managing and analyzing data across portfolio investments is manual, complex, labor-intensive, and prone to errors and misinterpretation of critical information. Through the use of PCRS, investment professionals are able to access critical fund and portfolio investment data along with key financial and operating metrics with ease and speed. Information is available through flexible dashboard views, pre-defined reports and user-defined analyses for instant insight into critical metrics.

"The PCRS solution from iLevel will enable MSPE to take advantage of a completely integrated platform to streamline data collection, centralize storage, and provide us with advanced portfolio investment analysis in real time," stated Gary Matthews, Managing Director and Operating Partner of MSPE. "We have partnered with iLevel Solutions because we believe they offer us a collaborative platform for growth which will help us to enhance our private equity operations."

"Today's data collection process consists of slow, manual 'spreadsheet shuffles' which limits visibility and creates the potential for inaccurate reporting and analysis," stated Rick Kushel, CEO of iLevel Solutions. "PCRS establishes a data collection and reporting discipline -- increasing auditability and integrity of data. The end result is a solution that offers firms unparalleled efficiency and cost reduction with streamlined processes that enable investment professionals to focus on business -- not gathering information."
