"American Payment Systems has partnered with ControlScan to help our merchants achieve PCI compliance and maintain long term security for their businesses," said Steven Cartwright, chief operating officer, American Payment Systems. "Not only is ControlScan's program easy for us to implement, but we can now provide our merchants with an easy-to-use solution, backed by a personal level of service, to help them achieve PCI compliance and protect their customers' sensitive information."

American Payment Systems merchants will now have access to ControlScan's PCI 1-2-3 compliance solution, available online via a Web-based merchant portal called myControlScan.com, which provides merchants with the leading tools and support necessary to analyze, remediate and validate PCI compliance, including:

  • PCI 1-2-3 Self Assessment Questionnaire
  • PCI 1-2-3 Vulnerability Scanning
  • PCI 1-2-3 Security Policy Builder
  • PCI 1-2-3 Security Awareness Training
  • Personal Touch Support

"This relationship allows American Payment Systems to offer their merchants a comprehensive and easy-to-use PCI compliance solution," said Jethro Felton, executive vice president of sales and business development, ControlScan. "By utilizing ControlScan's PCI 1-2-3 compliance solution as part of their overall offering, American Payment Systems will help their merchant community become secure, thereby ensuring that they meet all private and public regulatory requirements for protecting cardholder data."
