EuroMTS, the leading market in Europe for the trading of fixed income securities, announces the latest release of its online non real-time data offering operated in collaboration with Exchange Data International (EDI).
Adding new data and functionality to the existing mtsreferencedata.com website, subscribers can now access MTS Time Series data, the high frequency historical data sourced directly from the benchmark MTS trading platform.
The addition of this data significantly increases the range of non real-time data available via mtsreferencedata.com where MTS Reference Data and MTS Reference Prices (the official open and close) are already distributed to subscribers globally.
The availability of MTS Time Series data is a key development for current and future subscribers to this data. Currently used by a range of institutional investors, academics, central banks and regulators, the ability to download updates to this data is vital, allowing subscribers to download updates to their databases at will.
"Following strong demand from end-users for an easy, cost-effective way of accessing non real-time data, high value MTS Data products are being distributed via the Internet to meet these request and offer the best solution, especially for those end-users who may not have access to a data vendor service" said Rafah Hanna, Head of MTS Data. "EDI's strong background and long experience in reference data and distribution in this way make them the ideal partner for this project."
Jonathan Bloch, CEO of EDI, said: "The addition of the MTS Time Series to the MTS Data products demonstrates EDI's continuing commitment to providing benchmark reference data products to the market. We welcome this continued collaboration with EuroMTS and are delighted they have elected EDI to provide this data online."
Distributed via mtsreferencedata.com, the data is provided through highly configurable search functions and the results are available for download. Histories of MTS Reference Data and MTS Reference Prices are also available.
The data covers more than 1,500 government bonds in 21 markets and includes detailed information for every bond listed o on the MTS trading platform.
