Today at the 2009 America's Credit Union Conference and Expo, NetDeposit, a leading provider of distributed check capture solutions, announced its support for Epson, a leading supplier of value-added banking and check scanning solutions, by demonstrating its latest remote deposit capture offering, NetCapture Small Business/Consumer with Epson's flatbed check scanner, the Perfection V30.

An early adopter of Epson's full line of award-winning check and document imaging solutions, NetDeposit is now able to provide a full array of end-to-end remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions to meet virtually any volume RDC requirement.

"Epson depends on partners like NetDeposit to support our industry-leading check scanning solutions," said Bud Weist, vice president of sales and marketing, Epson System Device Group. "Until recently, RDC has been too complex and expensive for small businesses. With Epson's new, affordable line of small business check scanners and the NetCapture solution, low-cost remote deposit capture is a real tangible option for even the smallest business or consumer application."

NetCapture Small Business/Consumer is NetDeposit's newest RDC solution. This new offering is designed to enable small businesses and consumers who receive a small number of checks to quickly and easily make their deposits remotely through a web-based RDC solution.

In October 2008, NetDeposit certified Epson's CaptureOne(TM) check scanner for its medium and high check volume product, NetCapture Business. With this new small business offering, NetDeposit will be among the first to certify support for Epson's new line of SMB products, including the CaptureOne(TM) Single-Feed check scanner, the Perfection(TM) V30 flatbed check and document scanner and the WorkForce(TM) 310 All-in-One Scanner. Introduced at NACHA Payments 2009, Epson's new SMB suite offers three affordable scanning devices optimized for small business remote deposit capture.

"Our goal has always been to make remote deposit capture and all the benefits it offers available to businesses of all sizes. By combining our new NetCapture Small Business/Consumer solution with Epson's new SMB check and document scanners, we have a complete offering that is designed and priced to support both the small business and consumer user," said Chris Styga, general manager of NetDeposit's Financial Services Solutions Group.
