Technology Credit Union launches iPhone app

Technology Credit Union announced today the release of its new ATM/Location Finder iPhone App in partnership with the location aggregation provider LocatorSearch.

Available for free at the iPhone App Store, the application allows Tech CU members the ability to conveniently locate the nearest surcharge-free ATM from Tech CU's extensive database of more than 60,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. Tech CU is a member of both the Allpoint and CO-OP ATM networks, which combined, represent the largest surcharge-free ATM network in the country.

The new application also gives members the ability to log in to the credit union's Mobile Banking platform (go.techcu.com) from within their iPhone App and securely access their Online Banking account information to view account activity, make transfers, and pay bills and more.

"LocatorSearch was pleased to offer Tech CU an intuitive solution to give their members who were iPhone users a convenient way to search for a surcharge-free ATM or branch and login to the credit union's existing mobile banking platform," said Karl Kraus, President of Locator Search.

A button labeled "current promotions" at the bottom of the main interface links users to an iPhone-optimized area of Technology CU's Money Savvy blog (techcublog.com/) where they will find details about current promotions and special offers. Users can also navigate to additional areas of the blog site at a resolution specifically designed for the iPhone and read the credit union's latest personal finance blog posts and articles.

"Currently, over 3,000 of our members are using mobile banking, and that number continues to increase every month."
