Direct Debit Limited has set its sights on growing awareness of direct debits and other automated payments by using its position as the UK's experts in the direct debit marketplace to become advisors to Banks, SMEs and corporates on the benefits of the direct debit Scheme.

Additionally the company wishes to generate dialogue between the industry and business community to ensure customers get the best deals as technology advances, in terms of faster, cheaper and more secure automated payments systems. This objective reaches across the domestic and global markets.

Direct Debit Limited will also enable corporates to outsource their payments function through its bureau and contingency operations, and provides the only automated direct debit management system on the market "Direct Debit expert". This product allows businesses to maximize the use of automated payments and collections. Furthermore, the company now operates a comprehensive direct debit Training Department open to Banks, SMEs, corporates and those new to the direct debit Scheme.

Direct Debit Ltd. has 15 years experience in the industry and believes that lower costs and increased security are growing business interest, particularly as BACS, the UK's clearing house, migrates its users to a new Internet-driven payments channel, BACSTEL-IP.

Gerry Hill, Managing Director of Direct Debit Ltd. commented, "Our change of name is aimed at associating us more closely with our core business area. As an established player in the automated payments industry we think it is time that businesses were made aware of the full benefits of using direct debit collections especially now BACSTEL-IP has made the system so much faster, cheaper and safer to use.

Our objective is to show British business the wide-ranging advantages for them and their customers of using this technology, as well as helping to tackle issues such as late payments that can have serious consequences for small and medium-sized businesses in particular.

We are prepared to go into any business, at any time and undertake a full audit of their payments systems to demonstrate how they can save time and money through direct debiting, automated supplier, payroll, dividend, pensions and expenses payments."

In the coming months the company will be organizing a range of seminars and workshops aimed at achieving these objectives, informing businesses about BACSTEL-IP and sharing our expertise on the direct debit system.
