Allied Testing, a leading specialist QA and testing services provider to the capital markets, trading and finance industry, today announced the launch of a free online exchange simulator at the Equity Trading & Technology 2009 Summit (TradeTech) in Paris.

The exchange simulator is a web-based solution for testing intraday trading strategies under different market conditions. Its unique market simulation model considers probability of fill depending on market conditions and the impact of your orders on the market. Developed for financial industry professionals, from day traders to compliance officers, it can be used to quickly test intraday trading strategies of various complexities.

The simulator contains complete exact functionality of all trading phases of the supported exchanges (including London Stock Exchange, Euronext, Xetra, MTFs, and auctions). Simulations can be performed synchronously for combinations of instruments trading on different exchanges.

The service launched today includes free access to a real-time virtual exchange that simulates market situations based on historical market data. The solution is hosted by Allied Testing. A full enterprise version of Exchange Simulator is also available, which comes with additional features including variety of interfaces for convenient plug-in to algo-trading environments, market data uploading, and can be used to support automated testing of trading systems.
