Integrated Media Management (IMM), a document output management and automation technology provider, has been selected by three credit unions to install its TotaleChecks solution, which eliminates the need to store and manage preprinted checks with a server-based software product that laser prints official checks on blank stock security paper.
"Financial institutions can enhance their efficiencies by leveraging TotaleChecks to direct multiple core and third-party checks to one-check printing software," said Chuck Klein, CEO of Integrated Media Management. "The benefits go far beyond the savings from eliminating paper checks. Credit unions can significantly reduce the security risks of storing non-negotiable documents and with the automatic archival and easy retrieval of an indexed PDF of the check, substantially improve their workflow."
Velocity Credit Union, CitizensFirst Credit Union and Oklahoma Central Credit Union have chosen IMM's TotaleChecks to help increase productivity and lower operating expenses. IMM had completed installation of TotaleChecks for 169 financial institutions by the end of February 2009. The product is one component of TotaleWorks, IMM's flagship suite of products.
TotaleChecks eliminates the manual storage and management of preprinted checks as well as the security risks associated with storing negotiable documents. TotaleChecks is seamlessly integrated with the core system - wherein the check data is generated - and merges the data with the 128-bit encrypted check template, where digitized signatures are applied based upon institution-defined logic.
