St.George Bank today announced key online banking features would be available to customers via their iPhone or iPod Touch, as part of the ongoing commitment to meeting demand for innovative banking solutions.
St.George Internet Banking has already established a reputation as being one of the leading Internet Banking solutions in Australia.
The new features for iPhone and iPod Touch are intuitive, easy-to-use and secure.
"This move not only confirms our pedigree as an innovator in the Internet field but also acknowledges the positive customer feedback received following the launch of the Branch and ATM locator," St.George Bank joint CIO Dhiren Kulkarni said.
"We remain highly committed to servicing our customers' needs and keeping an energetic pace in delivering technology solutions which make banking easier for our customers."
The features that will be available via the iPhone/iPod Touch include:
- Account details as well as last 30 days transactions
- Transfers between customers' accounts
- BPAY
- Third Party or Pay Anyone payments
- FAQs relating specifically to Mobile Banking
- Up-to-date Interest Rate information
- Ability to download and locate us via the Branch/ATM Locator application
The service will be made available over the coming months. When launched, customers will receive communication via the website as well as Internet Banking.
