Ashburton latest Channel Island fund manager to join the EMX Message System

Ashburton (Jersey) Limited is the first Channel Island based fund manager to join the EMX Message System in 2009, going live on the 28 th January 2009. Ashburton, who are based in Jersey, also have offices situated in Cape Town, Dubai, Johannesburg and London.

Gavin Fraser, global sales director at Ashburton, said: "Joining the EMX Message System is a very positive step for Ashburton. We will be able to continue to provide an excellent service to our customers as well as have the advantage of automation that the EMX Message System can provide."

Tony Wood, of EMXCo said: "Throughout the history of EMXCo, it has been the support of our clients and new joiners that have made the EMX Message System the de facto standard for funds messaging. We are always looking to extend our geographical reach and now have clients based in 33 different countries. I am delighted to welcome Ashburton onboard at a time when our volumes are at an all time high and we have new clients signing up for our settlement services as well as messaging."

In January 2009 EMXCo has seen six new joiners come onboard the EMX Message System, and has routed 2.1 million messages, equating to €5 billion in funds flow.
