Reuters (LSE: RTR.L; Nasdaq: RTRSY), the global information company, today announced that FactSet Research Systems Inc., (NYSE: FDS) a major supplier of computer-based financial and economic data to the investment community, will now provide global coverage of the Reuters Fundamentals database to its customers.
FactSet is a redistributor of both Reuters Fundamentals and Reuters Estimates data. While FactSet customers already have access to Reuters Estimates data for all markets, the previous Reuters Fundamentals offering on FactSet was limited to U.S. listed companies. The addition of global coverage for the Reuters Fundamentals database will allow FactSet to provide its customers with a complete offering of Reuters Company Content to its customers.
Reuters Fundamentals (previously Multex Fundamentals) offers data on over 36,500 publicly traded companies. The Reuters Fundamentals database includes as reported and standardized financials statements, company profiles, officer and director information including titles, salaries and biographies, and business and geographic segment data.
