VSoft Corporation, a global information and technology provider of process improvement solutions for financial institutions, announced that Midwest BankCentre (Midwest), a $1 billion asset size bank serving the St. Louis area, has chosen to implement its Agile Branch™ - Back Counter solution. The solution will allow the bank to capture check images at its 10 branch locations for processing and exchange.
During the initial phase of the project, Midwest will send the captured check images to their Jack Henry data center in St. Louis. In 2009, the bank plans to bring all item processing in-house with VSoft's Agile Branch - Back Counter as well as additional solutions for full cycle processing including Statements, eStatements, CD Distribution and Home Banking.
"We chose to implement VSoft's Agile Branch - Back Counter to improve our branch processing and remain a top-performing bank," said Larry Albrecht, Senior Vice President - Operations, Midwest BankCentre. "This allows us to have more control by managing our imaging operations and exceptions processing internally, thus improving customer service, and reducing processing time and operating costs."
VSoft's Agile Branch™- Back Counter captures larger commercial deposits behind the bank's teller line or in the back room. Image workflow reduces manual proof and eliminates encoding, and the bank is able to transmit images and data throughout the day, mitigating peak staffing needs and reducing courier trips. Once the bank implements VSoft's solutions for in-house processing, all processing will be contained within the bank's internal processing system, allowing them to capture, process and distribute image statements to their customers.
"The flexibility of VSoft's solutions allows us to provide the ideal solution at the optimal time for the bank," said Murthy Veeraghanta, president, VSoft Corporation. "Beginning with the branch capture implementation and ultimately moving to a complete in-house imaging system, VSoft can help Midwest improve their processes and offer the best services to their community of customers."
