Blue Systems, a London-based provider of global financial information software, today announced that its new product, blue lite™, is now available to mobile network operators as a unique, ultra low cost offering. By partnering with the Capital Group, a mobile media solutions re-seller in the United Arab Emirates, Middle Eastern mobile network operators will be the first to offer blue lite™ to consumers.
A simple, user-friendly product, blue lite™ provides real-time global content, covering the US, UK, and international equities, global foreign exchange, oil and precious metals markets, with a purpose built Portfolio Manager so that investors can keep track of their investments.
blue lite™ will be the first financial application to provide both local and global exchange data, starting with the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Tadawul exchanges, directly to BlackBerry®, Windows Mobile® and Symbian® devices.
Sulim Malook, CEO of Blue Systems, said: "We are delighted to be cementing our reach into the GCC with the Capital Group, a well established provider in the financial services and mobile solutions sectors. We both believe that Middle Eastern investors have been waiting for an affordable service that incorporates both local and global data. The only viable alternatives, Reuters and Bloomberg, are simply too expensive."
Abdullah Al Hamed, CEO Amanah (Capital Group), said: "blue lite™ is a unique product and we are very confident that it is going to be extremely well received. We are naturally thrilled to be the first provider of this service in the region, particularly in light of today's economic climate. Real-time data has always been available, but only at a premium price."
blue lite™ is available for mobile operators around the globe to market now. It offers incredible value and accessibility to those who want to watch their investments in real-time. Mobile operators benefit from recurring monthly revenue as well as the differentiation blue lite™ brings: a mass market real-time financial application at an ultra low price.
