RBS to consolidate retail payments products under WorldPay brand

The Royal Bank of Scotland Group has launched RBS WorldPay as a new brand to consolidate its existing, market-leading range of retailer payment solutions products and services. RBS WorldPay offers retailers an extensive range of payment processing solutions across face-to-face, online, telephone and mail order platforms servicing all sizes and sectors of business.

RBS WorldPay brings together seven leading retail payment solutions brands; Streamline, Streamline International, WorldPay, Payment Trust, Bibit, RiskGuardian and RBS Lynk. The consolidation of the products and services under the RBS WorldPay banner gives different businesses, from the corner shop to the global conglomerate, access to an extensive range of 75 payment choices.



RBS WorldPay will be the largest acquirer in Europe and one of the largest globally, operating in more than 40 countries, 120 transaction currencies and 14 settlement currencies. In 2007, the different retailer services, which have come together as RBS WorldPay, processed 4.4 billion transactions worldwide.



RBS has led the payment solutions field, launching the first online shop offering secure transactions, as well as pioneering multi-currency services for global customers.
