BancTec, a global provider of advanced, high-volume, document and payment processing services and solutions, today announced that it continues to work toward a January closing for the sale of its Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) division to QualxServ, LLC.
Announced on December 11, 2008, the sale of its ITSM division will enable BancTec to sharpen its strategic focus around its business process outsourcing (BPO) practice and business solutions offerings. QualxServ, already a leading provider of technology deployment and field delivered support services, is acquiring ITSM to build an even larger base of customers, as well as to increase its scale and operating efficiency.
The ITSM division provides comprehensive deployment and maintenance services on computers, servers, printers, peripherals and networks for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and information technology outsourcing (ITO) service providers in North America and Europe.
