The project will be completed in tandem with ADABUS, ASC's exclusive reseller in Italy and DELCO Spa, Avaya's partner and a leading global provider of TLC and CTI solutions for the contact center market.

EVOip will be connected directly to Avaya IP Office telephones and will work solely through software without any proprietary hardware required. It will perform bulk recording on channels selected by TLX, and calls may be categorized by date, start/end time, call duration, channel or IP address. Through ASC's WEBplay and POWERplay features, the company may perform search-and-replay through any browser, with nearly unlimited online storage and archiving on DVDs.

Günther Müller, Chairman and CEO of ASC, said, "Our company has traditionally pioneered recording and quality-monitoring solutions for the latest technological advances. We re-invest about 15 percent of our revenues into research and development, one reason why we're always a step ahead of the competition. Our VoIP solution fills a vital need for premier organizations such as TLX, and we look forward to its widespread application for financial institutions and many other industries."

ADABUS promoted and sold the product, and will offer post-sale technical support. It also developed a customized SNMP trap generator application to get service status and system information from log files, and forward alerts by email.

Mauro De Stefanis, Managing Director of ADABUS, noted, "We recommend ASC's EVOip as an essential component to any communications recording system because it provides total protection from liability by incorporating IP telephones. The product is unsurpassed in its applications, scalability and user-friendly features including web-based access and interfaces."

Delco SpA will use their new focus on VoIP solutions to serve as systems integrator for the project.

EVOip, ASC's passive VoIP recording solution, monitors RTP/ RTCP packets on the LAN and operates independently from the customer's network. It may be used in nearly every environment and supports almost all VoIP vendors. EVOip may be adjusted for the most popular VoIP products to record phone numbers or support DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). ASC has designed the product to integrate easily with its other communications recording and call monitoring solutions, MARATHON EVOLUTION and INSPIRATIONpro. Thus, existing ASC customers may easily expand their operations into VoIP telephony at a minimum cost without losing any of their previous capabilities.

ASC also offers a second VoIP solution, EVOip active, to be used directly through the LAN infrastructure like an additional IP phone. It may be compared to the third party in a conference call (two IP phones and EVOip active).
