The Exchange and Plum Software today announce the integration of The Exchange's market leading quotation and new business services with Fact Finder plus Administrator, Plum Software's back-office administration system for financial intermediaries.

The upgraded version of Fact Finder plus Administrator will be released to financial advisers and mortgage intermediaries in November.

The 4,000 intermediaries using Fact Finder plus Administrator will be able to transfer client data electronically from their back-office into Exweb's quote services and then into electronic application forms or Provider Extranets, removing the need to re-enter data many times and greatly reducing administrative processes.

David Child, managing director at The Exchange, comments: "These arrangements form part of our commitment to ensuring our services can deliver practical business benefits to intermediaries. We know that entering client data several times into different technology systems increases the admin burden they are under and we have a detailed integration programme in place to ensure we link our services to all the main back office systems IFAs currently use."

Ann Dempster, managing director at Plum Software Limited, comments: "Integrating with Exweb is an important step in the development of Fact Finder plus Administrator and Plum Software’s aim to be the central system for storing, receiving and sending all client and policy details and documents with no re-keying. The Exchange's quotation and new business services lead the market and our clients can now benefit from automatic transfer of their client details directly into these services."
