SuccessFactors, a provider of on-demand performance and talent management solutions, has announced that Orion Bank has selected the SuccessFactors Professional Edition offering for small and mid-sized businesses to support performance management, goal management and employee development.
All Orion Bank employees will use SuccessFactors, with plans to implement SuccessFactors' compensation management solution in the future.
Founded in 1977, Orion Bank has consistently been recognized as one of the United States' best performing community banks. As part of the bank's long-term strategy they sought to implement a more consistent method to track performance and highlight company-wide goals. Orion Bank's EVP/Chief People Officer, Stacy Byers, and her HR team worked with SuccessFactors' offerings to create a performance management and goal-setting process that promoted greater visibility into individual accomplishments and their connections to company-wide performance.
"SuccessFactors provides the tools and processes that are both meaningful and scalable for our organization," Byers said. "We look forward to implementing compensation management solutions sometime in the future, which will provide our managers with even more support to help them identify and reward their strongest performers."
"Orion Bank is an excellent example of how a community bank is committed to a strong employee performance management process. SuccessFactors Professional Edition can serve as a critical enabler to help companies accelerate their success and performance," said Shelly Davenport, general manager of small business at SuccessFactors. "Because it's a one-stop shop, performance information is much more organized and accessible, and it results in reviews that are much more eye-opening and effective."
SuccessFactors' SMB offerings - Professional Edition for organizations up to 500 employees, and SuccessPractices for organizations with up to 2,500 employees - bring enterprise-class best practices to small and mid-size businesses. The Web-based, Software-as-a-Service technology model enables SMBs in all industries to cost-effectively implement the technology without the need for extensive IT support. By providing real-time, company-wide visibility into such critical performance data, companies are able to make better, more informed decisions about how to promote, recruit, compensate, reward and manage their employee base.
A recent study shows that SuccessFactors' customers have both stronger revenue and net income growth as compared to industry peers.
