Swiftcover.com is the UK's only dedicated online insurance company. Steak Media, swiftcover.com's digital marketing agency, chose buy.at after testing the performance of three affiliate networks. buy.at has been selected on an exclusive basis and will promote swiftcover.com through the 9,000 affiliates on its network. buy.at is part of Platform-A, AOL's digital advertising business.

buy.at will manage SEO, comparison and cashback affiliates for swiftcover.com. These include Quidco, Line my Pocket and Insure for Cover, as well as insurance-specific content affiliates. Affiliate sales will be tracked through buy.at's management area and are paid on a CPA basis, receiving up to £45 for each validated sale they deliver. Steak Media will oversee the consolidation and ongoing activity for swiftcover.com, including display activity, search and affiliate marketing.

"Through this partnership, swiftcover.com will increase its communication and engagement with affiliates and build relationships that will improve the cost-effectiveness of its online marketing activity," said Michael Steckler, Managing Director, Platform-A UK. "By selecting buy.at, they can manage the programme more closely and collaboratively to reach a broad range of affiliates, ensure their output integrates with the rest of the company's marketing and deliver incremental sales for swiftcover.com."

"The decision for swiftcover.com to consolidate the affiliate programme is based on the premise that one network will make the programme easier to manage and grow," said Tina Shortle, Marketing Director, swiftcover.com. "Over the past year, buy.at has significantly out-performed the other two programmes we looked at, so it was the logical choice."

"We are consolidating swiftcover.com's affiliate marketing activity onto one network to create a central resource of account managers that we can work with to ensure we make optimal use of this channel. We want to grow this programme to become an important sales channel for swiftcover.com," said Peter Banham, Affiliate Director, Steak Media. "We selected buy.at because of their proactive account management and strong relationships with affiliates, which have proven to deliver more sales than the other two affiliate networks we trialed."

Platform-A's buy.at will work with affiliates to ensure they are kept up-to-date with swiftcover.com's overall marketing activity, which includes broadcast, print and outdoor advertising. The affiliate marketing activity will be tracked and analysed using buy.at's campaign analytics and the buy.at management area, which highlights details including sales-per-region and sales-per-affiliate. Affiliates can monitor specific KPIs, such as earnings-per-click, using buy.at's desktop widgets.
