Interactive Data selects TNS for connectivity

Transaction Network Services (NYSE:TNS) today announced that Interactive Data Real-Time Services, an Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE:IDC) business, has enhanced its services to clients with fast and secure data distribution through Transaction Network Services' extensive Secure Trading Extranet.

Transaction Network Services will provide Interactive Data with resilient, scalable, fully managed connectivity that will carry its market data feeds and additional services to new and existing clients of Interactive Data.

Interactive Data is a leading global provider of financial market data, analytics and related services to financial institutions, active traders and individual investors. It supplies real-time market data, time-sensitive pricing, evaluations and reference data for millions of securities traded around the world, including hard-to-value instruments. Interactive Data's Real-Time Services business delivers low latency data on over 5 million securities from more than 450 sources around the world.
