EFunds sells EFT software to Lebanon's Bank Audi

eFunds Corporation, a leading provider of risk management, electronic payments, ATM and global outsourcing solutions, through its subsidiary eFunds International Limited, today announced that Bank Audi SAL, headquartered in Lebanon, has signed a contract to purchase its IST/Switch electronic payment processing software. The deal was concluded with the active support of Mideast Data Systems Lebanon (MDSL), eFunds' master distributor for the Middle East based in Lebanon.

Bank Audi is one of the leading banks in Lebanon, managing $12.9 billion of total footings globally and with more than 170 years of banking experience.
The Bank's strategy in recent years has focused on consolidating its domestic franchise through the expansion of its branch network and the provision of a broad range of commercial and retail banking products and services, supported by electronic delivery.

IST/Switch will be deployed both in Lebanon and in the Bank's Jordanian branch network. "We have elected to work with eFunds as part of the continued development of an infrastructure that can help Bank Audi achieve its strategic objectives and better serve our customers at home and abroad," said M. Naoum Moukarzel, IT Director, Bank Audi SAL.
