Proquote International upgraded

Proquote, the London Stock Exchange's real-time market data and trading terminal, today announced a significant upgrade to its Proquote International terminal.

Release 6.3, as the upgrade is called, is part of Proquote's ongoing development programme. It contains new features and enhancements introduced in response to customer feedback.

Key features of Release 6.3 include:

  • amalgamated order book enabling customers to view Best Bid and Offer price for multiple trading platforms
  • peer group display function allowing customers to easily identify a company's peers in a market, region or user defined subset of companies using the ICB classification system
  • derivative and fixed income calculators available for scenario simulations and decision support
  • news browser with pre-defined news searches allowing users to quickly find key news across all newswires and the creation of news filters automatically notifying users by email when targeted and relevant news is released. A Corporate Actions news feed helps users track events such as bid situations or stock suspensions.
  • Price watcher service supporting traders in decision making processes by continuously monitoring the London market for stocks with large price movements and online alerts allowing users to receive email alerts 24/7.

Commenting on the upgrade, Mark Ford, Chief Operating Officer of Proquote, said: "Release 6.3 is a major development for Proquote containing a number of key functionality and usability enhancements.
