CyberSource Corporation (NASDAQ:CYBS), a leading provider of electronic payment and risk management solutions, today announced that it has integrated TARGUSinfo verification services into its enterprise case management solution.
CyberSource customers' fraud analysts can now, with a single keystroke, accurately confirm a match between the ordering party's name, address, and telephone information, including wireless, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and other non-public phone numbers.
CyberSource's Decision Manager automatically analyzes incoming orders for fraud, based on 150+ integrated detectors and merchant-specific business rules. If a transaction shows suspiciously high risk, the order can be rejected or queued for manual review. TARGUSinfo enhances and accelerates the review process. The reviewer simply clicks a link on the Decision Manager case management page and the customer information is analyzed in real time by TARGUSinfo. Name, address, and phone numbers are verified with data the buyer entered. Integrating this second level of information into the case management system makes the review team more accurate and productive.
"We are always working to add new layers of security and efficiency to every transaction our merchants process," said Kirsten Fry-Sanchez, CyberSource vice president, product management. "TARGUSinfo technology is a leading source of verification for our merchants, aimed at minimizing fraud and maximizing the swift processing of good orders."
"CyberSource has long been a leader in risk management," said Joy Nemitz, TARGUSinfo senior vice president, market development. "We believe the combination of CyberSource Decision Manager and our On-Demand Verification(SM) services will be a significant contribution in the fight against online fraud."
