The ADP service offers comprehensive processing capabilities including electronic document workflow and routing for areas such as new account opening, client agreements and compliance. The service provides multiple channels for the ingestion of physical and electronic documents, and includes secure hosting for efficient storage, indexing and retrieval. A complete processing operation can be delivered on an outsourcing basis and includes document review and quality control.

Another part of the service is supplied via ADP’s PostEdge e-delivery solution which provides fast and secure delivery and storage of electronic documents such as transaction confirmations, account statements, daily reports and tax documents. This service has been proven in the US to significantly reduce print, postage and distribution costs.

"Our services have been proven to deliver cost and risk benefits, while enabling our customers to provide the highest levels of service to their clients," said Gerard Scavelli, General Manager, ADP Information Distribution Services. "We are confident that they will be well-received in the international marketplace, and we are committed to supporting them with world-class standards of service," he added.

ADP's document management and workflow services were launched in North America in 1999, where they are now used to address a broad range of business requirements including new account applications, confirms and statements, pension plan applications, tax documents, online trading agreements and share purchase plan agreements.

ADP has already gained its first European customers for the PostEdge platform.
