Marco Belletti, head of Equity Trading at Centrobanca (UBI Bank Group), comments: "We successfully tested algorithmicpath for the Italian Stock Exchange (MTA). This solution fulfills our requirements to have a rapid and easy-to-use environment to design, test and deploy custom trading strategies based on our customers' needs".

"This announcement enforces our product offering - states Antonio Caroselli, CTO at GATE T.I. - algorithmicpath provides an open, fully-scalable, low-latency CEP (Complex Event Processing) environment, where traders can rapidly set up their strategies for trading, quoting, pricing and hedging as well as for best execution policy enforcement, risk management and real-time market surveillance".

Centrobanca, a customer of GATElab's since 2007, uses algorithmicpath in conjunction with traderpath, GATElab's multi-asset cross-market platform providing trading and EMS capabilities, thus achieving the optimal performance. algorithmicpath can process high volumes of fast-moving market data from several sources and take action in the markets just within milliseconds.

Designed as a fully-resilient scalable service, algorithmicpath provides a high-level user interface to create/modify strategies, monitor their execution and tune parameters on-the-fly when market conditions change, thus giving utmost flexibility and control to end users.
