IPC Systems, Inc., the leading provider of indispensable communications solutions to financial services firms, today launched MAXaccess 1000, an innovative trader mobility solution that extends trading communications to any PC with broadband access.

The first of its kind, MAXaccess is a Web browser-based application that ensures complete and transparent access to trading counterparties, protects against unforeseen business disruptions and provides increased productivity and mobility for traders.

MAXaccess gives traders the flexibility to continue working by translating the essential features from IPC's highly regarded IQ/MAX turret to a browser-based application, designed specifically for use by mobile traders or when access to a primary trading location is neither feasible nor convenient. MAXaccess is the perfect combination of the acclaimed design of the IQ/MAX trading turret, geographic flexibility and seamless integration with existing infrastructure and recording policy compliance.

MAXaccess delivers a complete range of critical trader voice services, including private wires, hoot and holler, speaker and intercom capability to a unified browser-based interface. Traders can dynamically access all of the capabilities they are accustomed to via a purposefully built interface designed to optimize the user experience and conserve critical screen real estate.

"IPC has continually led the financial services industry when it comes to developing the next generation of trading technology," said Michael Speranza, IPC Vice President, Product Management. "We developed IQ/MAX, the world's most intuitive turret designed by traders for traders. Now, with MAXaccess, traders have the next-generation in indispensable communications - mobility - bringing anytime, anywhere trading access to a new level. MAXaccess delivers a new dimension for mobility and business continuity options and truly is a breakthrough product, unmatched in the marketplace."
