IP Trade, a global player offering a fully functional, truly IP-based trading communications platform, today announced the planned implementation of its VoIP trading turrets at investment firm David Lerner Associates.

Designed purely for the VoIP world, IP Trade's turrets will be seamlessly integrated into David Lerner Associates' existing Avaya IP-PBX system. By moving away from a legacy hardwired system, David Lerner Associates will gain a flexible IP-based solution that is integrated into the enterprise voice and data environment - facilitating communication and collaboration between both turret and non-turret users.

"We were looking for a proven, cost-effective trading communications solution to replace our legacy turret systems. The IP Trade solution will simply sit on top of our existing IP-PBX system and allow us to benefit from all the scalability and flexibility that VoIP enables," explains William Mason, EVP Trading, David Lerner Associates. "Because it is fully software-based the IP Trade solution also promises to be easily customisable, allowing for new applications to be added as our needs evolve and change."

"IP Trade solutions are already implemented at more than 36 customer sites across Europe, Asia and Africa, and we are seeing real interest from firms in North America for a proven, cost-effective true VoIP-based solution. We look forward to delivering the benefits of a fully-integrated VoIP approach to David Lerner Associates, and helping their associates communicate and collaborate more effectively," said Didier Mattivi, CEO, IP Trade.
