Gresham Computing plc is pleased to announce that it is now operationally live as a SWIFT SCORE member under the BIC code GRSMGB22.
The Standardised CORporate Environment (SCORE) is based on a closed user group, administered by SWIFT, where corporates can interact with financial institutions. This access model is for any corporate, such as Gresham, listed on a regulated stock exchange in a FATF (Financial Action Task Force) member country. SCORE enables corporates to interact in a standardised way with participating SWIFT financial institutions.
Steve Scott, Managing Director, Cash Reporting at Gresham commented, "Gresham is committed to promoting the use of SWIFT as a secure and resilient delivery option. We are delighted to have gained SWIFT SCORE membership and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship over the coming years."
Chris Errington, CFO Gresham commented, "SCORE membership provides us with access to the SWIFT network and the major benefits of a secure, single, standardised channel to multiple participating financial institutions for treasury and cash management. CFOs must clearly understand their cash flows on a real-time basis so that they can use cash effectively."
"Yesterday's information is no longer sufficient, especially during a credit crunch. What is required is a single view of information from multiple banks in real-time and Gresham can provide that solution through the Clareti Cash Reporting Service."
