The alliance enables credit unions to seamlessly integrate Connect's online banking application with iPay's consumer and business bill payment solutions to create a single, credit union-branded Web site for members. Credit union members using these applications in tandem can access their online financial transactions directly from a personal financial management software solution.

"As a technology provider solely focused on meeting the needs of credit unions, Connect looks for other organizations with a similar commitment to community financial institutions for synergies," said Chuck McCluer, president of Connect Financial Software Solutions. "An alliance with iPay was a good fit for Connect due to iPay's client base, call center customer service model and reputation for ease of use."

"Connect's powerful Internet banking application offers iPay's credit union clients an additional avenue for online banking," said Kelli Schultz, president of iPay Technologies. "Offering both online banking and bill pay is a powerful way to retain members' business. Credit unions are increasingly finding value in having the primary accounts of their members, and these primary accounts typically have online banking and bill pay connected to them."
