Orc Software (SSE: ORC), the leading global provider of technology for advanced derivatives trading and connectivity solutions, today announced the release of Orc Version 7.0 for latest trading enhancements including greater performance, flexibility and liquidity access.
Orc Software's VP Product Management, Joacim Wiklander, says the latest enhancements for Orc Trading meet worldwide customer demand for more complex trading capabilities: "Advanced trading firms require solutions that deliver powerful automated trading functionality, strong analytics, extensible market access, ultra-low latency and risk management.
"We are pleased to deliver new functionality to our global customers, in particular the ability to write Orc Liquidator trading strategies entirely in Java, thereby taking the flexibility of this solution to the next level," he added.
Latest release enhancements for Orc Liquidator and Orc Trader also include higher performance, new volatility models such as the SABR model and the Clamped spline model, GUI enhancements for more effective trading, an extended simulation environment, and more.
